THEY WILL TAKE MONEY FROM YOU WHATEVER YOU DO ! You can't decide if their policy meets your expectations until you can fill up a claim.

At that time only you will start dealing with the mess from AIUTOSHIELD .

YOU CAN ONLY FILL UP A CLAIM AFTER 30 DAYS WAITING TIME BUT IF YOU CANCEL AFTER 30 DAYS YOU WILL BE CHARGED A CANCELLATION FEE $50. THIS IS HOW THEY MAKE MONEY !

BIGGEST MISTAKE I EVER DID !

NOBODY TOLD ME FROM THE BEGINNING THAT CARCHEX IS A CONTRACTOR FOR AUTOSHIELD. I would skip the offer right away !

These guys WILL STEAL your money. The porpoise of this business is making money from early cancellation fees more than from curent customers as nobody gets to stay with them and be pleased for their services. Read first the negative experiences of the orher customers before you decide... THEY ARE HORRIBLE !

1) I was asked for a deposit at first... regarding the fact that I need to pay for one month when I cannot fill up a claim because is considered a waiting time so you can't fill up a claim. Basically you pay a deposit and a full month literally for nothing...

2) I almost lost my job because they did the best TO NOT provide a rental car in time.

3) THEY LIED saying that my TITANIUM plan WILL COVER EVERYTHING which really doesn't. The list of uncovered parts is HUGE and after reading you will realize that common issues on vehicle CANNOT BE COVERED by contract.

4) THEY COMPLETELY ignored the recommendation of my dealership to have two bearings replaced for safety reasons and only agreed to cover one bearing, but not the price mentioned by dealership . They wanted to ship a bearing costing half price, with questionable quality and origin to the dealership, or have me moving the car in another dealership service even if the policy states that the car cannot be driven while needing to be repaired. Another option was for them to cover less than half of the price of that bearing and have me paying out of pocket the difference.. They also told me in the beginning that the repair at dealership will fully be covered.

5) The cancellation fee is $50 which means you will never get a full refund from them.

6) CARCHEX is actually more busy in CANCELLING policies for customers than signing up and assisting curent customers for claims.

Trying to contact them for having your plan cancelled and get a refund will be a very long process and almost impossible to reach a physical person... they will put you on hold and have you on voicemail continously because is nobody there !

IF... IF ... IF, you will be lucky to get someone on the phone and have a full refund that will be done in 60 days !!!

7) I went through a waiting period of one month driving way more than 1000 miles as requested until I can fill up a claim but when I did, the operator told me that they usually don't cover preexisting conditions... That's a very unprofessional assumption for a customer who respected the terms.

DO NEVER GO WITH THEM !

CARCHEX LIED TO ME telling me that my plan will cover EVERYTHING and that they will cover all repairs due at the dealership. My car is on the dealership right now and I get ready to pay the repair out of my pocket because they won't cover anything like they said. I have two bearings and a strut mount which is gonna cost me almost nothing than it would cost me if I would pay this monthly plan TITANIUM for $147 ... I'm terrified about how much money I would LOSE if I would go with them longer and how much money I would have to pay out of my pocket FOR NOTHING !

THE BEST EXTENDED WARRANTY OPTION SEEM TO BE A SAVING ACCOUNT WHICH WILL ACTUALLY COVER EVERYTHING !

Reason of review: Bad quality.

CARCHEX Cons: Misleading, Customer serviece, Worst company ever, Being pressured or feeling like i am being pressured.
