I wanted to warn other potential buyers of Car Chex NOT TO BUY THEIR SERVICE CONTRACT! THEY ARE A SCAM, OUT TO GET YOUR MONEY!
I made my husband buy their top of the line service contract for $4500.00.
When I had a leak in my coolant line for the turbo in my car, the CAR CHEX adjuster wouldn't approve the repair. I was told by my service manager if the lines broke my car would stop dead in the road! The adjuster didn't care if I would be safe or not!
Before I took my car to the shop I called CARchex to find out if they would pay for a rental car. The lady I spoke with said "of course we'll pay you $40.00 PER DAY for a rental car." I had to rent a car for 8 days while my car was in the shop since I HAD TO PAY TO GET IT FIXED!
Carchex only paid me $40.00 FOR THE TOTAL RENTAL! Even though I was told it was $40.00 per day!
Im a women who does not know much about cars, but I do know when Im being taken advantage of. CarChex is a JOKE! BEWARE, DON'T FALL FOR THEIR FAKE ADVERTISING!
THEY CLAIM TO CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS BUT THEY DON'T! ITS ALL ABOUT YOUR MONEY AND HOW THEY CAN GET IT.

I would just like a full refund from March 30, 2022 since I became a client. Every issue (maintenance) Ive had so far with the my truck has a not been honored by Carchex and they were serious issues.
So far I have had to come out of my own pocket $4,220 to fix my truck when I have a warranty with Carchex. I no longer need your useless service I am quite upset and yet disappointed because I believed in this company to do good by their clients. Thanks but no thanks. I hope to hear from someone A.S.A.P.
Also I have been calling for the past two days and havent gotten a hold of no one. I must add not so good of a customer service record for me.

Don't think they will pay the full bill, if any at all
I was going to buy a new vehicle to have my vehicle under warranty again, but with covid and the vehicle shortages, I decided to try an after market warranty to give me peace of mind and get an extra 3 years on my Truck. Anyways I bought this warranty with $100 deductable.
Thinking don't worry any major thing goes wrong it will just cost me $100. We'll my air conditioner stopped working. I called them up asked where I could take it in the Madison Wisconsin area. They gave me two places.
"Midas" and "Wrench Auto Service". "Midas" could not work on it, it's the new AC. So I took it to "Wrench Auto Service" they called me up with some good and bad news. They could fix the problem but it would cost me $732.27.
The entire cost of the repair is $1451.96 but there is a cap on of $100/Hr from CarChex in my contract. Their rate was $182/Hr. I then read my contract which it does state that, I never read the stupid contract that close, I just confirmed what was covered. When I was sold this over the phone, it was $100 Deductible on covered repairs.
This was a covered repair. It also annoyed me they didn't cover all the parts necessary to fix this, the condensor was 208.89, but they would not cover the "Pipe, Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler Outlet" for 83.28. The garage said it was leaking and the repair would not work without it, so what am I to do, say no. Again my AC was supposed to be covered.
Labor is 2/3rds the cost of auto repairs now days. I did not pick this garage out, it's one that worked actively with them. By time I figure out my monthly service fee for having this warranty I am still in the red. I would have been money ahead to of never gotten this stupid warranty.
When you buy a warranty to cover a repair, it should cover that repair in full minus the agreed upon deductible. Then to try and cancel it, I called every number, sent emails, and nothing. I did this every other day for 2 weeks, When I got billed again I got pissed and called the credit card company and canceled it. Guess who called me?
Finally got it canceled.
I would recommend reading very carefully through the contract and shopping around. I was very disappointed.

Missing Contract
I paid for 3 contracts for my vehicles. I have been reaching out to C.
Bundy for a month to get the 3 policy for my GMC truck and hes not responding but he sure made sure my payment was taken yesterday.
Im about ready to cancel it all because I had this same problem years ago with someone not doing their job.
This is my second email asking about the plan for my GMC. Is there someone Else I need to speak with? Can you tell me if pain link is who is handling the administration of payments because my American Express flagged it as fraud because its not associated with car Chex.
I did go ahead and release it but the payment is not the same as the payment is showing on this particular email. So if I can get somebody to at least respond to the email or to call me so I have some type of idea of what you guys are charging and when you were actually going to charge it because Im a little bit angry right now its 1:52 AM and having to call American Express to resolve this becauseIm not getting any response of communication on your end is frustrating

I took my car to the dealership where I bought it, it has always been serviced there and has had all the routine maintenance with records to prove this. It took 5 days to get an inspection from Carchex and then they will not pay the hourly rate for labor that the service dept charges and will replace it with a rebuilt part.
None of this was told to me or is in the policy.. So they are paying for less than half of what it is costing. What a rip off and I am paying for the Titanium coverage. Don't trust this company or use them for your warranty.
Poor customer service and they get in no hurry and will not pay for a rental car every day.
Its based only on the number of hours they allow for the labor!!! i would give them no stars...
